Learning an adaptive methodology for managing projects (03-1.1.1.A)

Theme 1: Applied Project Management → Journey 1: Project-Based Learning → Track 1: Basic Concepts

Description

This adventure will cover the essential knowledge of a project management methodological approach. It will also serve as an introduction to the SUKAD Model for managing projects. The SUKAD Model or methodological approach is The Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects™, CAMMP™.

In this adventure, we address the vital concepts of the end-to-end project life cycle model. We will also explain the project phases, stages, stage deliverables, and stage gates. The course has eight goals and 26 missions (learning unit). There is a final exam at the end, which you have to pass to complete the course and get the certificate of completion.

Completing this course will allow you to claim 27 PDU/Contact Hours to PMI.

A quick note about CAMMP™: We developed CAMMP™ in 2007, and we continue to enhance it. The current version of CAMMP™ is version 3. A December 2017 book by CRC Press series, Leading Practices and Advanced Topics in Program Management, documented version 3 of CAMMP™ and provided other valuable project management insights. The book title is Project Management beyond Waterfall and Agile.

We highly recommend this course before moving ahead with other adventures in the applied project management theme. It is also a prerequisite to all adventures in the Applied Project Management theme.
